Crescent Head Rugby Seven's - 13th Feb, 2010 - Entries Open |
The Kempsey Rugby Union Club would like to invite your club to participate in the Crescent Head Rugby Sevens, to be held on Saturday the 13th February, 2010. The event will be staged as one of the most prestigious Rugby Sevens tournaments in NSW Country, with over $8000 of prize money on offer.
The teams will be seeded into 3 divisions:
Country/Suburban Division – 24 Teams – Country/Suburban club standard.
* Premier (Teams ranked 1 after pool games) Winner of final $3000, Runner-up of final $1000, 3rd & 4th $500 each
* Bowl (Teams ranked 2 after pool games) Winner of final $750, Runner-up of final $250
* Plate (Teams ranked 3 after pool games) Winner of final $500, Runner-up of final $250
Women’s Division – 8 Teams
Prize money – 1st - $1000, 2nd - $500.
Notes
1. Each team will play a minimum of 3 games.
2. The cut-off date for entries is January 29, 2010.
3. Entry Fee is $200 for mens teams and $100 for womens, which must be sent with the fully completed entry form. Entry form alone will not be recognised until the $200 fee is received.
4. It is advised to post entry forms and fees as soon as possible, as the process of accepting entries will be first in, first served. NB Many clubs missed out last year.
5. No invitational teams will be accepted. All teams must be ARU registered rugby clubs or schools.
6. All players must be registered on Rugbynet. Team managers are required to have the player’s registration number available on the day.
7. Teams are required to advise of withdrawal before January 29, 2010. Teams who do not advise of their withdrawal before this date will not be reimbursed the $200 entry fee.
